Dr. Danielle (Dani) LaMarr initiated Pet Fixer Mobile Veterinary Service in 1998 to reach out and help those in need. Dr. Dani graduated from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997 and started practicing at the Atlanta Humane Society as a way of giving back to the community. While there, she was fortunate enough to meet a sweet lady by the name of Helen. Helen was an elderly lady who smuggled her cat Felix to the vet in her purse after the taxi driver told her, “No cats allowed.” Helen didn’t have a choice: she lived in a retirement community, she did not drive, but she desperately needed medical attention for her furry friend.
After Dr. Dani cleaned out Helens purse, she told her that she would never have to smuggle Felix in again. From that point on, the art and compassion of house calls were born.

From the very beginning, Dr. Dani approached our dog with patience, empathy, and proper understanding. Dr. Dani didn't just see a complex case; she saw our sweet boy and took the time to treat him like family. Thanks to her expertise and dedication, Dr. Dani uncovered the root of his issues and gave him the relief and comfort he needed. He is now a different dog—happier, healthier, and finally able to enjoy life again.
Another fantastic perk is that Dr. Dani comes straight to your home! This made all the difference for our dog, who is much calmer and more cooperative in his environment. It is an unmatched level of care and convenience.
We can't recommend Dr. Dani and her team highly enough. If you want someone who truly cares, who will go the extra mile, and who has the knowledge to make a real difference in your pet's life, Dr. Dani is the one. Dr. Dani has been a true blessing to our family.

Thank you Dr.Dani

When I booked my appointment, Michael told me that I should not sedate my dogs. I was nervous about how they would do during their exam but decided to give this new approach a try. He explained that Dr. LaMarr uses a fast acting sedative on rare occasions and would use that if needed.
Dr. LaMarr's mobile clinic is chic, sparking clean and larger than most exam rooms. She was patient with my eight-year-old shepherd and let him explore the exam room and climb on chairs and connect with her an Michael. Then miraculously, she was able to do a complete exam without any sedation.
My three-year-old shepherd was a bit more challenging, but Dr. LaMarr was able to do a complete exam without sedation because she is so patient and skilled.
Dr. LaMarr and Michael are outstanding in every way, and we are grateful that our dogs are being cared for by such warm, compassionate, responsive, expert medical professionals.

Thank you Dr. Dani, we really appreciate you coming all the way to our area and treating our cats with the best, most exceptional care possible. 5 plus stars!

They truly care, do an amazing job, and always have an open ear for any questions. We love them so much!!!!

Fast forward a few months, Ali started to show signs of lameness and dragging his back paws. She recommended an MRI and she told us about Auburn Vet School. I again had to explain Ali's situation and they didn't hesitate to help. They were incredible. The amount of time they took speaking to me, from the office staff to the nurses to the neurologist, the patience they took with Ali was impressive. From the first moment we got there, two of the vet students got on the ground and played with him and gave him treats until he warmed up and were able to get him inside.
Ali's bloodwork confirmed he had both copies of the degenerative myelopathy (DM) gene. I was devastated. There's no treatment, surgery or cure for this disease. It's progressive and there would be a time when we would have to have the quality of life conversation.
A year passed by from the first visit with Dr. Dani, we did everything from different foods, supplements, wheelchair, harness, muscle exercises and massages, but the DM had completely taken over. It was time for "that conversation". I called Dr. Dani, barely able to get the words out. I had to ask her very difficult questions and she was compassionate and again made me feel like I was doing the right thing. She's like you love him enough to let him go, it's the right thing to do, you've done everything and more. It was so hard to say goodbye, but it was peaceful and done at our home. This wouldn't have been possible if it wasn't for Dr. Dani ❤️🐾🐕😇🙌❤️.
